Notes: This Art Deco design of gladiolas on a mottled stone-lava ground by Louis Auguste Dage (France, 1885-1963) at the Roland factory pre-1935 and was possibly retailed by Birks, Canada.
Markings: signed in glaze on side, ‘DAGE’; signed in glaze on base, ‘Birks’ / ‘PARIS’ / ‘MADE IN’ / ‘FRANCE’
Condition: Very Good
For Accuracy: a vintage vase it may show expected light signs of age and use related wear. The glaze is excellent and the colours bright and strong.
