SUMMARY: William Moorcroft Pottery tube-lined baluster vase in the Pomegranate pattern with distinctive dark blue cobalt ground featuring open and closed pomegranates in a continuous freeze around the upper body. The pomegranates are separated by yellow and green leaves and a lush grouping of blue and purple grapes. Sometimes referred to as open pomegranate this early derivation features the inclusion of ripe pomegranates with split centers exposing the delicious and mythical seeds.
