    Lovely circular Moorcroft vessel, with raised rounded sides standing on a short collar foot, and decorated with the trademark tube-lined ‘Anemone’ pattern, with distinctive blue-green brushed ground. The colours of the Anemone pattern are richly infused with pinks, blues, purples and greens.  The gradation to the background is particularly attractive with deeper blues-greens adding dimension behind the floral setting.     Moorcroft – Vase – Leaf & Berry Flambe

    Striking Moorcroft flambé vase in the desirable ‘leaf & berry’ pattern, designed by William Moorcroft, made c. 1928-1936, appropriately marked to the base with impressed, ‘MADE IN / ENGLAND’ / William Moorcroft left slanting facsimile impressed signature in blue / and the impressed mark, ‘POTTER TO H.M. THE QUEEN’. The pleasingly proportioned flaring trumpet form body is decorated with a wide band of tube-lined leaves separated by berries reserved against a flambé ground shading to a deep blue. The glaze is a radiant flambé, burnishing the green leaves and purple berries with intense reds and oranges with brilliantly infused green and yellow highlights. Scroll Down for further details

    Sold William Moorcroft Pottery tube-lined baluster vase in the Pomegranate pattern with distinctive dark blue cobalt ground featuring open and closed pomegranates in a continuous freeze around the upper body. The pomegranates are separated by yellow and green leaves and a lush grouping of blue and purple grapes. Sometimes referred to as open pomegranate this early derivation features the inclusion of ripe pomegranates with split centers exposing the delicious and mythical seeds.
