An American Art Pottery vase by Rookwood Pottery, 7″ high x 4 ¼” diameter, # “938D•”, signed with decorator’s initials “C. S. T.” / Charles Stewart Todd (1910-1922), and dated 1917. The ovoid shaped vase is covered with a matte salmon glaze, with incised decoration on the shoulder further enhanced with a multi hued glaze.

The base has impressed the Rookwood logo consisting of reverse “R” + “P” monogram surrounded by 15 flames and below this: “XVII / 938D• / C. S. T.”
