Description & Notes: An early 20th Century American art pottery Sunflower vase, shape and size no 512-5, made by Roseville Pottery, circa 1920s-30s. Of soft bellied cylindrical form flanked by graceful strap handles joining the should to waist, with slight flaring mouth and inward sloping foot, it is decorated with a continuous frieze of golden yellow sunflowers on a textured blue to orange ground.
Markings: Unsigned, well-documented form.
Dimensions: 5 1/8” high x 3 7/8” wide at handles x 3 ¼” diameter
Condition: Antique, Excellent Condition.
For Accuracy Only: there is a minuscule production glaze pop on one leaf. The colour are brilliant, mould crisp and strong, crazing minimal to non-existent, glaze well applied and form appealing.
