SUMMARY: American art pottery tile covered in a yellow-green glaze depicting a central embossed image of a young child with an intense downward cast gaze, short hair, and wearing a frilled top, made by the Trent Tile Company, Trenton, NJ (1882-1939).
DIMENSIONS: 6” square x 1/2” deep
MARKINGS: impressed in script verso, “Trent”
CONDITION: Antique, Excellent – For Accuracy Only: there is the lightest of nibbles along the bottom edge and light crazing as expected with this sort of glaze. Compared to most it is clean and nicely preserved.
