Notes: Large Anna-Lisa Thomson designed circular plate, with slight concave form raised on a collar foot, made of red clay and finished with a high gloss glaze of yellow and white stripes over blue, made at Upsala-Ekeby Sweden, circa 1960s.
Thomson is known for using nature as inspiration; this work is evocative of the sea.

Markings: impressed on base, “EKEBY” / “1104” / “A.L.T”; stamped on base, along the foot, “MADE IN SWEDEN”
