Note: This piece is of particular interest as it was made during Josiah Wedgwood’s lifetime, likely at the Bell Works (the rented Adams Brick House) – it was during this period that Queen Charlotte awarded the title ‘Pottery to Her Majesty.’ It was also during this time that the formula for Jasperware was perfected and production started.
