800 silver bowl of oval shape with thread edging, 6 ¾ inches across x 5 inches wide x 3 ½ inches high, raised on four, cast and applied feet.
The two sides of the bowl are slightly lower than the ends and it is impressed at one end under the edge “800” in an oval, incuse fox head facing left and a rubbed maker’s mark ending in “A” within a geometric cartouche.
It weights 234 grams – 7.5 troy ounces x 80% = 6 ounces pure silver.
