Active in Calgary, Alberta, Wride is a self-taught painter working in watercolour and pastel. She is known for her lake and mountain landscapes including such notable landmarks as the Valley of the Ten Peaks, Bow Valley, Maligne Lake, The Three Sisters, and Mount Rundle.
