American Art Glass, Art Deco, lightly iridescent calcite glass compote, the gold aurene interior has brilliant, strong colour with red and blue undertones, Shape #5066, 6 1/8 inches high x 6 inches wide, made circa 1922 by Steuben Glass Co., Corning, New York, unsigned. The bowl has a low slightly rolled rim, is raised on a centrally expanded stem and rests on a large pad foot with polished pontil.
