SUMMARY: Delightful oil lamp featuring a cherub raising a font into the air, holding the light aloft as if weightless, made in silver plate by Charles Parker. The youthful cherub wears a sash and stands on a spot of foliage atop a reticulated foliate and rose base. The font is further embossed with scrolling foliates and is designed to support a tall central chimney and glass globe shade.

CONDITION: Antique, Very Good Condition.
For Accuracy Only: there is a small area of plate loss on the cherub’s leg and the occasional tiny ding, these blend in well with general patina of the body and aren’t noticed unless under close scrutiny; else excellent. Note: this is being sold without a chimney, burner or shade.
