Coralene ‘Dandelion’ Vase, c. 1910’s
glass beads on porcelain
5 ½” high x 4 ½” diameter
Notes: An antique vase it may show expected light signs of age and use related wear; the gilt shows minimal rubbing, primarily to the rim, the ground shows light wear as is typical; and the beads retain good full coverage. Overall the coralene retains its colourful and shimmering appeal.
Large luminescent yellow, orange, and green coralene dandelions constitute the central design, a single bud wrapping around to the backside and a small butterfly can be found flying on the other, all raised on a burnt umber to forest green gradient with gilt borders, beads, mouth and foot.
