Summary: A British Arts & Crafts high-fired vase made at Ruskin Pottery (1898-1933), 1923. Hand-thrown and glazed, the shouldered baluster form with everted lip and flaring disc foot is carefully covered with a cream and green semi-matt soufflé over yellow with lustre finish.
Dimensions: 10 3/8” high x ~ 4 3/8” diameter
Markings: Impressed on base, ‘RUSKIN’ / ‘ENGLAND’ / ‘1923’. Stilt marks on base (3) are centered and clear; a sign of authenticity.
Condition: A period piece, the vase is offered in fine original condition guaranteed free from notable damage or repair. For accuracies sake: there are a couple very light scratches to the surface and some extremely light craquelure; all common and to be expected. It display beautifully.
